The Ultimate Choice
Of all the choices you will ever make, one choice supersedes all others the ultimate choice. This one choice will help you to always make correct decisions. This one choice, the ultimate choice, is your keystone to being the best student and person you can possibly be. This one choice will forever affect you for good more than any other choice. THE ULTIMATE CHOICE IS:

TO BE A CTR PERSON- TO ALWAYS CHOOSE THE RIGHT!!!

Reflection: I believe what this statement is saying is that whatever choice you make will affect you in the future. If it’s good it will benefit you. Any good decision you make will help you become a better person. To be a CTR person you have to make the right choices in order to be considered one. You also have to think about the negative things that will come towards you if you choose the wrong. It’s better to live your like as a CTR person than a CTW (choosing the wrong) person.

“A man without a goal is like a ship without a rudder”

Thomas Carlyle

Reflection: I really like this quote because it makes a lot of sense. It explains how a boat needs a rubber to be guided by if not it will not move and stay still and it’s the same we use human if we don’t have a goal set in life we will not go nowhere in life. If you have a goal set in life you will know what directions to go and the good decisions you have to make to reach your goal. For example, in our class we have our life planning goals this is a big help because it lets us know what obstacles we have to go through to reach our goals in life.

“If there is beauty in character,
There will be harmony in the home.
If there is harmony in the home,
There will be order in the nation.
If there is order in the nation,
There will be peace in the world.
Conclusion:
If there is beauty in character,
There will be peace in the world
Chinese Proverb

Reflection: I think what this quote is trying to say is that everything we do goes together in chain. If we have a good character and follow the six pillars we will have peaceful world.
“The Six Pillars of Character”
1.       List the six Pillars
v  The six pillars of character are Trustworthiness; Respect; Responsibility; Fairness; Caring; and Citizenship.
2.       Describe each pillar and give an example for each Pillar
v  Trustworthiness:
Be honest • don’t deceive, cheat, or steal • be reliable — do what you say you’ll do • Build a good reputation • be loyal — stand by your family, friends, and country
v  Respect
• Be tolerant and accepting of differences • Use good manners, not bad language • be considerate of the feelings of others • don’t threaten, hit or hurt anyone • Deal peacefully with anger, insults, and disagreements
v  Fairness
Play by the rules • Take turns and share • be open-minded; listen to others • don’t take advantage of others • don’t blame others carelessly • Treat all people fairly
v  Responsibility
Do what you are supposed to do • Plan ahead • persevere: keep on trying! • Always do your best • Use self-control • be self-disciplined • Think before you act — consider the consequences • be accountable for your words, actions, and attitudes • Set a good example for others
v  Caring
Be kind • be compassionate and show you care • Express gratitude • Forgive others • Help people in need
v  Citizenship
Do your share to make your school and community better • Cooperate • Get involved in community affairs • Stay informed; vote • Obey laws and rules • Respect authority • Protect the environment • Volunteer

Reflection: I think these six pillars are important to follow. I think if we all follow these six pillars the world would be a better place. But sadly, not everybody follows. As long as you try your best to make a difference.
