Reflection: Dr. Ben Carson is a really nice guy. He knows what it feels like to live in poverty he has experienced it so that’s why he wants to stop it. But a lot of people don’t realize how bad poverty is.  

Eastern Medicine Doctor

Duties and Responsibilities:  Oriental medicine, which includes the practice of acupuncture, Chinese and Asian bodywork therapy, is a comprehensive health care system variety of traditional health care therapies that have been used for more than 3,000 years to diagnose and treat illness, prevent disease and improve well-being.

Salary: $58,958

 

Education: take it as a 1-year post-graduate program upon completion of the Diploma of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine or a 2-year post-graduate program upon completion of the Diploma of Acupuncture.

Reflection: I would not like to work as an eastern medicine doctor. I think it’s a cool job but it’s not something I would be excited to work as.

Reflection: This is true because when you’re excited to do something you do with a passion. But in the other hand when you’re not you can tell a difference.

Reflection: Dean Smith was a very respectful man. He didn’t care if people notice what he was doing good he just cared that he knew he was doing something right. He felt proud of himself. 

Marketing

Duties and responsibilities: A marketing manager is someone who manages the marketing of a business or product. They can be responsible for several services or products, or be in charge of a single product. A marketing manager needs to have an outgoing, gregarious, and spontaneous nature. They need to be highly focused, detail-oriented, and very conscientious of meeting budget restraints and timelines.

Salary: $123,220

Education: Marketing managers typically have a bachelor's degree in marketing or business administration.

                                                                                                             

Reflection: I would like to work as marketing it seems fun and creative. This is a big job but it catches my attention. I think selling products is very interesting because you get to meet different things.

Reflection: This qoute explains alot because it shows us that if we choose the right we don't have to worry about nothing because life is already leading us to the right path.

Ear, Nose and Throat Doctor 

Duties and Responsibilities: Ear, Nose, And Throat doctors are also known as a  Otolaryngology. Otolaryngology are speialized to help patients with disorder in ear, nose, and throat. 

Salary: $365,171

Education:ENT physicians must complete about 15 years of education and training. 

Refelction: I would really like to work as a ENT doctor because this job doesn't catch my attention. I also wouldnt like to deal with whats inside our ear, nose, and throat. 

Winter Break

This winter break was fun and tiring. I loved this break because we celebrated my favorite holidays, which are Christmas and New Year!  I love these holidays because we spent time with family and friends and they make a lot of good foods they normally don’t make daily. Oh and don’t forget about the presents on Christmas day! On New Year we went to Frazier Park with some close friends. Frazier Park is a mountain of snow. I remember that in that day there was a kid sliding down the snow and when he was sliding he hit himself in the eye in a tree. He was bleeding a lot so they ambulance came to take him. But on the week days I would go to work with my mom because I didn’t like to stay home and do nothing.  I also didn’t complain because they would pay me to work. When they paid me I went to shop with my sister.

Reflection: If you have intelligence but don't show character there is no true character. The true education is to show intelligence but also show character at the same time.

Registered Dietitian

Duties and Responsibilities: A registered dietitian is an expert that knows about nutrition foods. They help individuals, groups and patients eat healthy and gain the nutrition they need through a proper diet. They also give facts and advice to help their patients.

Salary: $55,460

Education: Dietitians must obtain a bachelor’s degree from an educational program approved by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics. They also have to pass a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

Reflection: I would like to be a registered Dietitian because they help people become healthier. And I could also help myself and my family to become healthier.
